Filtration

A significant reason for the majority of oil and fuel system failures is the presence of high water contaminant levels, in dispersed and free water form. ANMOLFABTEX is the key component for a wide range of enhanced nonwoven filter media fabrics that are designed for the removal of water and particulates from aviation fuel, automotive diesel and a wide range of oils.

Such fabrics help to reduce problems associated with water and particulate contamination.Their versatility enables real cost savings over traditional cellulosic-based absorption media and offers full compliance potential to stringent international filtration standards – particularly in the aviation fuel and hydraulic oil markets.

Packaging

ANMOLFABTEX is a USA FDA and European EFSA compliant super absorbent, for exudates management in food packaging materials that effectively lock away lose liquids within their core, keeping produce fresher for longer.

Such fabrics have substantive and uniform super absorbent distribution profiles, offering truly unparalleled levels of consistent absorption and retention performance. They are highly efficient for keeping meat, fish, poultry - and a whole range of other perishable foodstuffs - packaged in optimised conditions whilst both on and off the shelf.

Geotextiles

Water-blocking functionality can be achieved with ANMOLFABTEX. It is already a key component for a range of geosynthetic membrane fabric technologies that can be used for water-sealant and blocking applications.

Such fabrics are designed to act as a barrier to water and help alleviate the problems of flooding. The fabrics work by absorbing water until the membrane swells. At a certain point, this then becomes an impermeable barrier to water, completely alleviating the problems of flooding and water seepage.

Agrotextiles

The ability of ANMOLFABTEX to rapidly absorb and retain water makes it ideal for agrotextile applications. It creates new possibilities for the development of fabrics that can be used as both temporary and long-term solutions, from hanging basket liners to commercial scale projects, even in areas of low water availability.

Such fabrics are designed to achieve highly controlled delivery of water and nutrients to root systems, whilst significantly reducing evaporative loss and water seepage.ANMOLFABTEX can also be dosed directly to the soil.

Apparel

ANMOLFABTEX can be converted into a wide range of disposable and durable (washable) fabrics for use within performance apparel. Being fibre-based, its fabrics can be precisely tailored into a diverse range of formats that offer the potential for enhanced design and performance. 

Such fabrics create the optimum conditions to significantly reduce heat stress and fatigue, increase wearer comfort and maximise physical performance – even in the most extreme environments. Solutions that can be worn both next to skin and over outer clothing are available and are based on cooling through evaporation of absorbed water, or improving user comfort through absorption of body perspiration.

Nonwoven Fabrics in Hygiene

Have you ever changed a diaper? Put training pants on a toddler? If you’re a woman, you’re probably familiar with feminine hygiene products. All of these, plus incontinence products, all contain nonwovens. Nonwoven fabrics offer many advantages in the hygiene market. Here are a couple of examples.

Nonwoven Fabrics in Medical and Healthcare

Have you ever watched a medical drama on TV? Or had surgery at the hospital or out-patient clinic? -Hospital operating rooms are filled with nonwovens and you’ve either seen them on TV or up close in person. Nonwovens offer many advantages in the medical/healthcare market. Here are a couple of examples . . .

Operating room personnel wear single-use nonwoven surgical gowns when they are in the operating room. Nonwovens are also used to make surgical drapes. The advantage for using nonwovens is protection from the patient’s blood, bodily fluids, and they are sterile.

Millions of people all over the world acquire HAI (Hospital Acquired Infection) resulting in tens of thousands of fatalities every year. Leather and Shoe Footwear

Linings, covers, toe and heel counters and insoles all use non woven fabrics to make sure they are fit for use, ergonomically and practically.

ANMOLFABTEX non woven fabrics for footwear are produced using 100% spun bonded polypropylene and high quality stitch bond polyester staple fibers and polyester yarns. Many of the top UK and global footwear brands use AnmolFabtex products in their manufacturing processes.

They can be made with various finishes to suit customer needs. The fabrics can also be stitched or needled to other fabrics to provide added strength.
